Make a financial contribution

The winter season is historically a very difficult one for many farmworkers and their families as seasonal work ends and rainy days make for fewer days of work.

Many of our fieldworkers are struggling to pay rent and provide sufficient food for their families. They also have little access to appropriate cold weather work clothes. We respond to these needs with our Emergency Fund program.

Your generosity will make a difference to each family we reach.

How it works

Friends of Fieldworkers will do an intake for struggling farmworker families and create a wishlist for each family member with their age and wishlist.
Friends of Fieldworkers volunteers will match families with sponsors and share the wishlists.
Sponsors will spend $30 - $60 per person for each member of the adopted family.
Sponsors agree to protect the privacy of the family they are matched with and not share any personal information.

Timeline

Companies, offices, and groups may team up to adopt larger families.

Sponsors may have the opportunity to meet their families at the holiday event.
