Alexis López was born in San Diego, California and is the proud son of indigenous farmworker parents. His parents immigrated from Oaxaca, Mexico and later called Ventura County their home. They worked as farmworkers harvesting strawberries and other crops throughout the state of California. As the youngest of 7 farm-working siblings, Alexis appreciates their hard work and perseverance.
For twelve years, he has dedicated himself to serving families in need through the medical field. He currently works as a billing specialist at Las Islas Family Medical Group, a Federally Qualified Health Center. He is excited to be part of Friends of Fieldworkers, in an effort to give back and provide support to farmworkers in need.
