We all know the importance of wearing appropriate footwear for anyone doing manual labor, but did you know that a large portion of our fieldworkers do not have adequate work boots? Instead many harvest our food in sneakers or rain boots which increases their risk of slipping, falling, injury and even developing fungal infections. Durable and long lasting work boots are often not attainable for our fieldworkers due to the cost. This is where our amazing community comes in. We are organizing our first ever Virtual Boots Drive!
